AMA: MMMAS 23 #8 - Monster

It's that time of year again, for our annual Monster Mania Mail Art Series. Some of our other swaps will be put on hold, so I can offer this Monster series again. It's one of my favorite series each year.

This year, we will make and send our one partner, one mail art piece for each of the Monster Mania Mail Art Series (MMMAS) swaps that you participate in. Not limited to: an ATC, Handmade PC, Decorated envelope w/tuck in, Tag, Inkbox Card, Journal Page, Painting or wall hanging, Handmade Jewelry, Art Doll...whatever type of art you would like to create.

For this swap, please make one mail art item that includes a Monster of some kind....sender's choice on which monster they want to use.

This year we will have 11 Halloween inspired Monster swaps, that will lead us up to Halloween/Day of the Dead celebrations:
1- Ghost
2- Jack O Lantern Or Scarecrow
3- Mummy
4- Skeleton
5- Bride of Frankenstein AND Frankenstein (You may choose to send one mail art item each, or combine the couple on to one mail art item)
6- Dracula Or Vampire
7. Halloween Animal...examples: Bat, Black Cat, Werewolf, Raven, Witches Toad, Spider, Owl
8. Monster
9. Zombie
10. Witch
11. Day of the Dead / La Catrina

You can pick and choose your favorites or sign up for all of them. If there is an Or in the subject theme, then just pick the one you want to make. If there is an AND, then both monsters must be included in the swap. This is sender's choice in style and type of mail art, so feel free to work ahead.

In this swap, make your one partner, 1 Mail Art piece (sender's choice of mail art: not limited to an ATC, Postcard, Inkbox Card, Mini Zine-Original not photocopied, Decorated Envelope with a tuck in, 2 ATC coins, Tag, Altered File Folder, etc) that highlights the Monster for that swap.

Any art medium is acceptable, this means no stickers please. Sticky embellishments are okay. Postcards can be any size or shape, and may be mailed Naked, in a sleeve or in an envelope. I know weather, covid concerns, and unpredictable mail service has some people wanting to mail in an envelope. If you have a preference, please list it on your profile. Things mailed in an envelope should be mailed in some sort of decorated envelope. ATC's are standard 2.5 x 3.5 inches, and can be oriented in either direction or shaped. Please include your artist info on your work.

Please include your name and the name of the swap somewhere, so that you can get rated.

Be sure to rate your partner when you get your mail art item.
