Description:

This swap is about 3 of my favorite things: HALLOWEEN, CREATIVITY and GENEROSITY! I started swapping because I LOVE to give! It brings me so much joy! I also love doing art and being creative. This is the first swap I have ever hosted, and dolphingirl was kind enough to allow me to use her “cigar box” swap idea. So we are going to decorate a box and fill it to the brim, then overflowing with fun Halloween goodies, decorations, jewelry, rubber stamps, pins, toys, trinkets, stickers, and more.

You will have one partner who you will need to decorate a cigar box or something similar in size and fill it up with anything Halloween related as long as it isn't candy, Please make sure that you fill it up really well with handmade or store bought items that have a Halloween theme. There is no spending amount but I always try to put TONS of fun stuff in my swaps, Generosity is a big part of what this swap is about! So please try to do $10 to $15, or even more if you're feeling especially generous. This is about having fun while really blessing someone and letting them know they're special.

For the box, wood or heavy cardboard cigar boxes are both fine. Just as long as it is a good sturdy box that won't fall apart and as long as it is a regular cigar box size or bigger. If you can't get any cigar boxes for free, most craft stores have wood boxes that are the same size that are very inexpensive. I’ve found mine at Michaels, Hobby Lobby and on Amazon.

Please put your best effort into decorating your box for your partner, you want to give them something that they will love and display for years to come. (You can Google Halloween cigar box to see examples). Handmade and store bought items are both welcome! No tackiness, i.e. sticker slapping, please. If it’s handmade, please make it nice. Please only send what you would love to receive. Do not send dirty, damaged or ugly items. That is not the type of horror we’re going for here!

Please read your partner's profile and respect their likes and dislikes. In other words, if they don’t like gore, you probably don't want to send them an awesomely sculpted severed hand on the top of their box.

Please only send HALLOWEEN related items (unless you're like me and have sent a ridiculous amount of Halloween things and want to send a couple of fun profile related items, after you've met the Halloween $ amount). I get my Halloween items at places like: Target, Spirit, At Home, JoAnn’s, Michaels, TJ Max, Walmart, Frys, even online at Amazon, Temu, Shein (just make sure anything you order online has a delivery date that is well before your swap deadline, of course). This is a USA only swap. Please ask if you have any questions.
