Description:

I've really struggled with the whole index card thing...mine always look like oversized ATCs, which is NOT the intent! Please watch THIS video to see an example of what a decorated index card should look like...and enjoy the hilarious Julie of Camelia Crafts while you're watching! I mean...people use these in junk journals; some people even make booklets out of them! Let's start with a set of required elements: a vintage document (real or faux), a dwelling of some sort,, red flowers, a postage stamp (or two), and finally, rubber stamping. Of course you may include other elements as desired, but remember that the idea is to NOT make an oversized ATC, but to end up with a cohesive card. Margarete Miller is, I think the Queen of decorated index cards, so check her work on Pinterest and/or YouTube, and be inspired!
