Description:

The Word of God is living and active! It has power to effect our lives in an amazing way. But, the only way to access that life-changing power is to study it, know it, and to learn how to apply it and live it out in everyday life.

Let's start 2024 with a new commitment to Bible Study! Join me in this weekly swap series. Share with your partner what the Holy Spirit is revealing to you through His Word.

For this week, read Matthew Chapter 6. The Key Verses are Matthew 6:3-4. (I recommend that you begin your Bible Study time with prayer. Ask the Lord to meet with you and honor your efforts to learn His Word. Ask Him to help you to understand it and to reveal what HE wants you to see.)

Send your partner a letter or notecard answering these questions about this week's passage:

**What are some charitable deeds you have done recently or thought about doing?

**Why do you think it's important to God that believers do charitable deeds in secret?

**Did you see anything in this chapter that was particularly intriguing to you? Are there any treasures you discovered during your study time that you would like to share?

Please, rate with a 5 if your partner answered all the questions. Don't rate based on the content of the answers. Keep in mind that these questions are meant to be challenging and thought provoking. Please, be understanding if someone struggled to come up with an answer. Everyone will have a different response!
