Hi swappers . . . Let's follow along with Tina in THIS TUTORIAL to create 3 coin envelopes for our partners. The tutorial is quite long however; you'll only need to watch the first 10 minutes to get the basics--everything after that is for inspiration. Tina shows beginning with an 8.5"x11" paper; however, she cuts it down, so it's not really clear what size is needed. Let's shoot for finished coin envelopes measuring approximately 3"x6". The envelope Tina creates has the seam running down the front; let's not do that. Please punch (or cut) the thumb notch into the FRONT side of the envelope, so the seam is in the back. Please include a couple pieces of ephemera in each of the pocket. Try for flat envelopes with maybe a flat-ish embellishment or two on the front. As always, the tutorial is meant for inspiration, not duplication. Be creative in your own style! Hope you'll join this fun and simple swap! |
