This is the Cabbage Rose postcard. If you joined the Cabbage Rose atc swap, and made a few postcards, then you may have this ready to go already. If not, then this will be a new technique for you to try! It is one of the easiest ways to make a Cabbage Rose! I made a t-shirt about 28 years ago with this technique. It lasted 24 years! I loved that t-shirt. You will need 2 colors of acrylic paint for the Rose in this technique. If you want to add leaves, grab a color for that too (3 colors total). The Rose may be too large for the Postcard, but that's OK. It can hang off the edges and look more artsy that way. Please "stamp" more than one rose on the Postcard using this technique. I will work one up for you when I return from my trip. PLEASE FOLLOW this link to learn the cabbage rose technique. https://youtu.be/Vqd4Na4-W4U?feature=shared Have fun, be creative with colors - or keep traditional! Recap: A. One Postcard with cabbage roses. B. ALL SWAP INFO on back - 1. Title if you have one. 2. Your name. 3. Date. 4. Name of Swap. 5. Your Swap ID (moniker). C. Please write a short note to your partner about your Rose Postcard process/experience. Did you like the technique? Was it fun? Why did you choose your colors? Did you put leaves? Why or why not? Mail on time with proper postage.
