The TGIF notecard series is a writing swap, and I am emphasizing that by including the “journals” tag… “journals" as in Journaling (Not blank books! This is still a written Notecard swap!)

Tell your partner what exciting or not so exciting things you did this weekend. Did you tackle a big project? Or a little project :) Read a good book? Go out for a party, or a walk, or to the store? Whatever you did, write a note Sunday evening or Monday morning telling all about it.

Your message should be a minimum of a notecard in length, writing on all or most of the blank areas of the card. A notecard is a folded card that goes in an envelope, similar to a greeting card but without the sentiment. You can use stationery instead of a notecard.

Please be aware of the very fast turn around time: Partners are assigned Saturday morning (Swap-Bot time) and your notecard should go out with the Monday mail.

Everyone is Welcome

Newbies: Please fill out your profile, it should be at least a page long. Not-so-perfect Ratings: 1s and 3s are okay, recent and ANY fixable 1s need to be taken care of. All: Please communicate if there's an issue!

Have Fun and Happy Swapping!

Monday is a holiday here. I'll be sure to have my card out on Tuesday. :)

Monday is also a holiday here, so will pop in postbox on Monday but it will not be lifted until Tuesday.

Yes! Happy Children's Day! That's fun!

And uh, Happy Bank Holiday for the UK! laughs.

There’s actually a Children’s Day somewhere? And it’s a holiday? With no mail? Wow! In USA, when kids ask why isn’t there a Children’s Day , as there is a Mother’s Day & Fathers Day (on a Sunday, not an actual holiday), the response is that ,”Every day is children’s day!”

Yup! Korea has Children's Day and it's what we call a "red day" this means it is marked on the calendar in red and schools, banks, doctors, the post office (and other things but not grocery stores) are closed. In Canada I'd call it a Stat Holiday.
