Autumn Equinox Artwork and Blessing

Let's celebrate the Autumn Equinox (in the Northern Hemisphere) on September 22 when day and night are of equal length.

For this international swap you will create a little piece of art and send it to your partner together with a blessing, quote, or poem for the Autumn Equinox. You choose what piece of art you would like to create as long as it has to do with autumn. Do you think of colorful leaves, pumpkins, or squirrels when the season changes from summer to fall? Maybe for you it has to do with finding balance during that time of an almost equal amount of daylight and darkness, with gratitude for everything you have already received this year, or with specific colors like orange and red. You also decide what your artwork will be made of. Do you like crocheting? Perfect! Would you like to draw or paint something? Go ahead! You can craft with paper, or beads, or you can sew something. This is sender’s choice so you can start to create your piece of art as soon as you sign up for the swap. Please create something beautiful from your heart that will bring your partner joy and a special autumn feeling. As this is an international swap, it is totally fine to make something that fits in a normal size envelope so that you don’t have to pay enormous postage. On the other hand, if you like to create something larger and you are okay with higher postage, you can do that as well. Together with your artwork you will send your partner an Autumn Equinox blessing, a poem, or a quote that has to do with fall. Please write it on a nice piece of paper, a notecard, or postcard, and include it in your envelope.

Send your items on time (I chose an early send date so that we all have the chance to receive the swap before the Autumn Equinox even if it has a longer journey to reach its destination). Rate your partner a 5 when you receive a handmade artwork together with an Autumn Equinox blessing, poem, or quote.

I ask for a minimum 4.96 rating, and no recent or unresolved 1s / 3s. I want this to be a happy and joyful swap, so please only sign up if you know you will create something beautiful for your partner and send the swap on time.
