Description:
Teach a partner your favorite easy craft by putting together a mini craft kit. Your kit should include: instructions materials to complete one item and may also include a completed sample if you wish. You can assume basic tools and supplies (glue, scissors, tape, etc) are available to the recipient. Kit ideas: beaded bracelet, wire earrings, ATC, card game, magnets, mini-shrine, altered book, felt toy, mini book, DIY rubber stamp. Or check your partner's profile and come up with your own great idea! To keep shipping costs reasonable, your kit should fit in a medium-size padded or flat-rate envelope. Or maybe in a regular envelope, depending on your craft. Please no store-bought kits; have fun making this one yourself. Sender's choice but reading profiles is encouraged. Hope you're all getting excited about making your kits.

I've got mine planned (assuming my partner isn't totally adverse to a little printing project) and look forward to writing up the tutorial. It will be a challenge to eplain this - it's easy to learn by watching, but not so simple to eplain in words. I might have to take photos!

Iam still trying to decide what kit I want to do with this swap. I recently hosted a similar swap and for that one was the directions for a yo yo embellished needlebook. I think I'll do something a little easier and less time consuming for this one. hummm...

A needlebook sounds like a great craft kit. I wonder what you'll come up with for this one? I hope you'll photograph your kit before it goes out so we all can see.

I can hardly wait to get going on this. I hope my partner likes paper crafts I am sure no one else is making a kit like me. I will have to take photos to show everyone. awesome swap idea thanks

okay, I thought of something and now it is all ready to mail to my swap partner when we get assigned names. I made a minibook kit. I love minibooks and like I told the person I made this one for - I am a member of a yahoo minibook swap and you won't believe how much creativity there is out there for mini books. Mine pales in comparison, but of course the idea in my kit can be made as awesome as you want it.

Well, it looks like everyone got their kits except one of our swappers went AWOL, but I'm glad to say it was me she was supposed to send to.
