Let's make some inchies people!!

What is an inchie...

You use a 1 inch square...that's right, 1 inch by 1 inch...make sure it's sturdy, and embellish it with anything you want. Sort of like a teeny tiny ATC.

This is an international swap, open to those with a rating of 4.8 or higher. New swappers are welcome, but please have a filled out profile and have logged on at least a week prior to me assigning partners.

Get really creative, I know you've all got it in you!

We will do 5 squares for 1 partner for a total of 5 inchies. Sender's choice so start working on them now!

Any questions, please send me a PM.

This is my first swap as I have just joined. Do the inchies need to be done on card or can they be stitched ones on pellon, etc as I live in New Zealand and am thinking of the postage.

I'm not sure what pellon is? Anyone?? I cut my 1 inch squares out of heavy cardstock and embellish. Stitched inches would be incredible, I'm sure!

Pellon is interfacing. Unless you are using two layers of the super thick stuff (like for fabric bowls) it just isn't thick enough to hold up. 5 inchies done on card stock will cost you the same about to ship as a letter. hope that helps!

Thanks so much for that answer!

Inchies are so addicting! I am glad there are so many swaps involving them on here! When partners are assigned, if anyone needs blank inchies, let me know and I will definitely throw some in. I invested in a 1" square punch, so I am happy to share. Even if you aren't my partner and need some, let me know. :D

I love inchies! I'm in a monthly swap with about 7 or 8 people, but would love to do this one too. I'm signing up. I'm pretty new to Swap-Bot, so this will help my ratings and completed swap count.

you can never go wrong if you incorporate at least three things in your inchies. That can be glued, stamped, written, or painted. Don't forget about paint samples that make great inchie backs!
