I would also like to know how many ATC's are required. I am going on vacation in June, and don't know how much time I'll have for these if it's over 3 or 4 ATC's to a partner.

I LOVE this idea. I am new to swap-bot, and have already received some really Fabulous things, but have also received some really hand-me-down stuff...junk drawer stuff. I joined this community so that I could meet folks from around the world, but also so that I could share my art and craftmanship with others. I put my ALL into everything I produce for each swap, and I would only assume that the partners I swap with would do the same. This is YOUR NAME on each item you send, like a "first impression"!! Wouldn't we all like to be fabulous to another person upon our first meeting. I am unable to join this swap at this time, due to not having received any ratings yet, although I have sent out many swaps, so expect the ratings just as soon as they can come in. I would LOVE to be a part of a swap like this again, so possibly consider doing a round two?! Fellow swapers...be proud of your work, aim for the highest possible ratings, and only send things that are fabulous and or useful! Each of you....take care!

Must the ATC be original art (oil, watercolor, pencil etc.)? Can it be collage with ephemera or found objects? Altered pictures? Digital?

You can use any medium as long as it is your highest-quality, best effort. I myself prefer collage/ephemera/found objects, but that's because I stink at digital! ;-)

I am joining in hopesthis will force me to take more then a few hours to make an atc. I want to add some of my scrapbook ideas to my atcs. If you don't think my work is good enough (by viewing my flickr) then lemme know & I will drop. :D

I was thinking how can ones "best and finest work" be rated? This is not really unique criteria.

Me too- I just sent a message to the swap host. I joined another swap with a sign-up deadline that ended the same day and got my partner info right away. Technical glitch maybe?
