A Useful Usable Swap

This swap is for the sender to create something functional for their partner. Sent items should be either completely handmade or (very) altered/embellished. It should be somewhat durable and provide some sort of purpose in addition to it being cool or pretty.

Be considerate of your partner and put some thought and work into your useful creation!

Some possible suggestions of usable items to send:
- shopping bag
- coin purse
- magnets
- small dish/bowl
- box/container
- picture frame
- pin cushion
- cloth napkins
- whatever else you can think of!

The usable item can be made and embellished with any medium - whatever your specialty! Be it fabric, felt, yarn, sculpey/clay, wood, bottle caps, paint, plastic, random found items... that part doesn't matter too much! I encourage creativity and reuse, always.

Art is fun when it's functional! Have fun with making your handmade useful gift and I encourage heart giving for effort and thoughtfulness.

Now, of course this is a handmade item and not store bought, but to set a guideline of how awesome it should be, the item should be something that could sell for at least $5.00 to the best of your judgment. That means if it's small or simple, like a magnet, then send a few of them. It should be something nice enough that you would give it to a friend. And nice enough that your partner will want to show it off to their friends :)
