Description:
If you enjoy fabric collage, textile ATC's, or just like to save all of your fabric scraps for whatever other purpose, and want to diversify your stash, this is the swap for you! You will send each of 3 partners atleast 20 DIFFERENT reasonably sized scraps of fabric or ribbon (I'd say fabric around 1x2", and ribbon around 2" long...atleast). And please nothing junky/boring (eg. ribbon that's all frayed, muslin, canvas, burlap, stained fabric, etc) And if you want to go the extra mile how about adding zippers, buttons, fancy papers, beads, etc etc to the mix? Any odd or end that could be useful in mixed media, decorating swaps, ATC's, and the like! This is an INTERNATIONAL swap! Please no ratings under 4.5, and no repetitive no sends. Newbies welcome with a full profile! And sorry guys, but I don't have the time to angel this swap :(

Thanks for setting this up! Have quite a few 2x2 scraps from an abandoned quilting project (takes too long) and other pieces. So many fabric swaps require you to send fat quarters when I just love the littler pieces. They look so cool with a button on them or a piece of lace/trim!

Ooooo! This swap is perfect for me since I work in a professional costume shop, I have a huge box of pretty fabric under my work table that are too small to make garments from waiting for new homes. Smaller pieces of course be appreciated, but if it is possible for my swap partners, I'm personally looking for 3" pieces since I'm making a yo-yo quilt of all types of fabrics in that size. Looking forward to starting this!

I can relate ikyoto, oodles of my fabric scraps came from my days doing a co-op placement in a professional costume shop. Pieces they wanted to just throw away that I insisted on keeping :D -Spoon

OK! OK! I'm hooked!!! I am a seamstress and quilt maker, and love fabric. I see a piece, have to buy it, and then figure out what I'm going to do with it. Count me in.

Our swap coordinator seems to be MIA. Believe she has 3 days to check for questionable swappers, then partners are automatically assigned if she doesn't.

Do you do ATCs? We have a local group the meets at the Morrisvill Mall at the Airport Outlet Food Court once a month. Next meeting is July 25. We do other things than ATC trading at these meetings. All kinds of fun projects. Smiles Sandra
