I love sequins, rhinestones, charms...unusual & hard to find beads & trinkets. I love color, color & more color!!! Much love to my fellow "swappies"!!!

user1699 06/28/2006 #

Shiny, small, COLORFUL. Can't get enough beads, buttons, floral shaped anythings, sequins, rhinestones or surprise-mes. Raiding my personal stash and some shopping for unknown treasures I have yet to find(its a tough job, but I am willing to do it. LOL) will net you a great little package! Can't wait to get going. I too send Crafty love to all.

groovyholly 06/28/2006 #

I adore brads and eyelets in all shapes and sizes. I am also addicted to prima flowers, just can't get enough of those, in all possible colours and sizes. I really like those neat little photo holders and I'd also like some plain old photo corners, those are so handy to have. I love stuff in metallics, both shiny and not so shiny. Those round little beads, the ones that don't have holes in them are extra cool too. Don't forget the scrabble letters!!!!

dulcimer 06/28/2006 #

All things are good. Beads, beads and more beads. Anything vintage looking. Wooden adornments and sun, moon and stars.

user1106 06/28/2006 #

Shiney things, watch parts, scrabble tiles, pewter charms/castings, pressed flowers, unusual buttons,

xxx

igobylorib 06/29/2006 #

I love anything that is worn and aged looking. I LOVE buttons and ribbon and think my obsession might be a problem :) I love rhinestones. I love any kind of flowers. Not a big sticker fan :)

much love-

user1314 06/29/2006 #

I love anything vintage: buttons, trim, bias tape, ric rac, embroidery, glass beads. Also I love semi-prescious stone beads. I don't scrap-book, but I sew and quilt and knit. Charms are fun, too.

user1662 06/30/2006 #

Old, rusty, worn, faded. New OK too. Buttons, beads, trim, old lace, old ribbon, junk. I love it all. Can't wait for this package to arrive !!!!!! Will have lots of fun assembling items for my partner.

owlsong 07/ 2/2006 #

I've just cleaned out my art cabinet thing and discovered how many embellishments I have! I can't wait to send all these out and get a few new ones.

user637 07/ 3/2006 #

polka dots, charms, buttons and beads. i love all things preppy, pink, green. love grosgrain ribbons.

MarianneT24 07/ 4/2006 #

I love brads, eyelets, small beads, prima flowers, ribbon, etc. I love bright and happy colors (not neon), music theme and flowers. I am so excited, thanks for letting me join.

user404 07/ 4/2006 #

I love old game pieces, dice, checkers, dominoes etc. Any small charms, eyelets, brads, etc. are awesome too! Skeleton keys, little locks, I am a found object nerd!!! BUttons, fibers (I just started crazy quilting and need small lengths of ribbon, cool yard, and fibers!) This is going to be so fun!

user2029 07/ 4/2006 #

i love animals, hearts, dices, skulls, wathever-shaped plastic beads; glow in the dark and glitter things (not neon); aged looking or mexican looking stuff... i don't like gold or silver like things and neither flowers...

take a look at my flickr and myspace in my profile so that you can get an idea of my tastes ^^

can't wait to receive and send my package!

Hagit 07/ 5/2006 #

I love embellishments, but mainly ribbons, charms, and buttons. I don't sew or knit at all, I use all my embellishments on cards. Looking forward to a great swap!

user2066 07/ 6/2006 #

I'd love to find a little gifty in my mailbox with anything vintage--ribbons, beads, buttons, rhinestones, ric-rac, fabric trims...I sew and do a lot of fabric and paper craft, but not scrapbooking per se.

marthawinger 07/ 6/2006 #

Trim, ribbon, buttons, lace - anything vintage. Buckles or purse findings would be great also. I enjoy sewing - not so much a scrapbooker. Already started a package to send! Can't wait!

user2036 07/ 7/2006 #

i love love pink, lace, BUTTONS, sequins, ribbons, ...basically anything fun and girly!!! also vintage stuff too! i cant wait to see who my swaper is!!

user2064 07/ 9/2006 #

I don't do a lot of scapbooking but I do have an art journal so my preferance would be for things which would go in a flat book. I'm looking forward to seeing who I get so that I can try to find something here in Australia that they might enjoy.

user1746 07/11/2006 #

I'm a found object junkie, as I love doing assemblage. I like quirky unusual things...larger is fine. I especially like things from other countries, coins, matchbook covers, ticket stubs, small souvenier buttons. Also anything with some age to it...a rusty nail, piece of tin, old bottlecap. I'm not into eyelets, but do like interesting brads, clips, that sort of thing. Not a scrapbookie or card maker, more into collage assemblage and art dolls.

user1185 07/11/2006 #

I like making altereds. I like weird, wild, wacky, bizarre, weird circus, zetti, witchie, tarot like.I like out there items.

I like art dolls, bookbinding. i love collage.

Weird is good.

StephanieRenee 07/11/2006 #

anything that will work for cards or scrapbooking, because that's the kind of things that I do.

user2157 07/11/2006 #

I am drawn to anything foreign, metal, found in the gutter, beat up. As others have said: 'weird and quirky' is good. But then, on the other hand, I love the muted colors and "stuff" that makes up the shabby palette. I've decided to love whatever I receive!

sassyheather 07/12/2006 #

I do not have the requirements for this swap - however I have a huge spindle of red glittery lace if anyone would like to swap for something indapendently. Contact me at [email protected] if interested.

mari 07/13/2006 #

I am a cardmaker constantly on the lookout for that special little thing. A few centimeters of ribbon, a cool old button, parts of a boardgame... if you can glue it to a flat surfaces - it´s in my taste!

mammadoo 07/13/2006 #

I love all sorts of stuff. I don't scrapbook but I do participate in Fat Book Swaps so paper stuff is great. It's just fun to swap out.

user1902 07/14/2006 #

I am looking for patches, especially "boyish" ones like spaceships, trucks, dinosaurs, guitars, NASA... Also, I like big stickers that are good for decorating folders because I'm a teacher.

stephadactyl 07/14/2006 #

i love color. i especially like greens, blues, pink, red, chocolate brown, and black. i like polka dots, argyle, owls, robots, and dinosaurs. i love mid-century vintage. anything i could use to make jewelry or packaging for my creations would be great. i'm not really into floral prints or gold colored things.

owlsong 07/15/2006 #

My embellishments are packaged and addressed, and ready to go out the next time I get the chance. ^^

dulcimer 07/15/2006 #

user1460 07/16/2006 #

I'd love to get some vintage embellishment items...old buttons, bricabrac, ribbon, lace, fabric, paper...I'd also love old typewriter keys, postcards. Can't wait to send off the goodies I'm collecting for my swappy!

sambob 07/20/2006 #

Thanks Bev!

owlsong 07/21/2006 #

Received my embellishments from Suzi today--man, they're great! -grin-

Thank you so much!

user1662 07/26/2006 #

Mailing my package tomorrow to 'pickled cherry'. Had lots of fun picking things out. Hope you like them all. Also got my package from Mammadoo. Thanks for all the fun stuff.

user2064 07/29/2006 #

My embellishments are in a packet and ready to go out in the mail on Monday. This is my first time, so please be gentle!

mammadoo 07/29/2006 #

Received my embellishments today and am very pleased. Thank you ???? from Kingston, Ont.

user2044 07/31/2006 #

I was very disappointed when I received my swap. I sent out brand new items well worth the value, and I received stuff well under the money limit, and most of it was trashy.

owlsong 07/31/2006 #

Many apologies, Bev, that I didn't quite live up to your expectations.

user2064 07/31/2006 #

I received a lovely parcel in the mail yesterday from Laura. It was so exciting to look at the bits an pieces and wondering what I might use them for. Can someone tell me how I match the real name with the username so that I can leave feedback, please?

user1382 08/ 2/2006 #

Oh no! Bev's comments worry me...Since I am a collage artist I approached the swap from that perspective. I didn't go out and buy all new stuff; I mostly collected items from my diverse stash. I sent many treasured vintage items...my fingers are crossed they sparked my partners creativity & were not recieved as "trashy."

stephadactyl 08/ 2/2006 #

me too creativechange. i don't have much spending money, but i have an overabundance of supplies. i tried to send a variety of different items, some of which were vintage items from my grandmother and great-grandmother. i stuffed one of my large plastic craft bags full of supplies, so i'm hoping my partner enjoys going through all the little bits and pieces.

stephadactyl 08/ 2/2006 #

oh yeah, and i got the package that was sent to me today. i had alot of fun looking at all the neat vintage buttons and other goodies my partner sent. i already have plans for a few of the items.

user1314 08/ 3/2006 #

I got your package Naomi, thank you.

user2044 08/ 3/2006 #

We are into scrapbooking and so I thought I would get things like that. Instead I received pipe cleaners and fortune cookie wrappers.

I enjoyed receiving the package but was not what I thought it would be. Guess next time the swap should be worded differently.

And OwlSong, You'll still be receiving the highest rating (5) from me : )

user637 08/ 3/2006 #

i received an amazing package today from michele in appleton, wisconsin. lovely, lovely! i loved every little bit and bauble in there and the packaging was adorable. i uploaded a picture to the gallery for all to see. thanks, michele!

ps ... let me know when you get yours, jennifer in south yarmouth, massachusetts! should be any day now!

user2157 08/ 3/2006 #

Holly...you are welcome!! Your generous and lovely comments secured much needed relief for my "first time swapper" jitters-thank you!

owlsong 08/ 5/2006 #

Ah, now I understand, Bev. When I get paid next week I'll run out and put together another little package for you, to try to send more of what you were expecting. (No sarcasm or snippiness here--I'm serious. ^_^)

user1106 08/ 6/2006 #

Got my package from Holly today. Awesome stuff in there! Thanx so much!

igobylorib 08/ 9/2006 #

user2044 08/14/2006 #

I'm so glad we got everything straightened out!

Just wondering if Marti Majino ever got my package, it was mailed July 28th. Also I have no record of receiving my package and do not know who my partner was. Can someone let me know so I can see if she sent it? Thanks Rosalie Ackerson
