Notecard Swap

Hi, I am interested in this swap, but I am one of those people who like to make notecards and with an envelope...Would you allow some cards that are nice handmade ones?

I am happy to see this swap! There is a card company that makes these great notecards and cards and stationary but it's back east (I'm in CA). I found out they are going out of business! I happened to be there for Mother's Day and bought BUNCH of notecards, long before I knew about this swap! Now I am happy to be able to share them with someone else! THANK YOU!

You said blank cards, does that mean the fronts cannot say things~Like Thank You, congratulations, etc.?

I have so many note cards that I have collected over the years. Do not worry about getting bad cards from me as I buy mine from gift shops or museums. I have everything from Victorian Halloween note cards to Artwork cards from the National Gallery in DC. I use some of the graphics to laminate or put in resin jewelry which I sell on my website. We had an old hospital "over-the-bed" table in my daughter's room and we took note card covers, postcards, photos and little souvenirs and used resin to make her a new table top with her her mementos all inside the new top. She uses it all of the time. This is going to be a fun swap! I hope you tell us what the restrictions are on what type of cards if there are any. Thanks!

From the other swaps I've been in, they always did blank everyday notecards which is what I was thinking for this one. That way the person can send them to other people for any occassion. So blank on the inside, generic front (like no "Get Well Soon"), and include the envelope. Does that make sense? Sometimes I think it does in my head and then when other people read it, not so much lol.

I know! Waiting is so hard. I always get tempted to move the date back one day so I can assign partners (the system makes you wait until several hours after the day has ended). But that wouldn't be fair. :( Waiting is not easy for me sometimes. I get a little anxious!

haha! i host a lot of swaps and i usually move the signup date back so i can assign partners faster. i'll usually wait till at LEAST midnight. haha.
