Photo + Quotation

I've seen some public swaps in which participants take pictures to match quotations provided by the host. Here's a variation of that idea in which participants choose both the quotation and the photo to illustrate it.

Each participant will have 2 partners and will send each partner 1 photo with which they've paired a quotation. You could start with a quotation you love and then take the picture to match it; or you could work from a picture you've taken and then try to find an apt quotation--whatever seems best to you. Put the quotation on the back of the photo, and--to give credit where credit's due--be sure to include the author or source.

Consider "quotation" in the broadest sense: you could use a line from a poem, a sentence from a book you've read, a piece of song lyrics, a proverb, some inspiring words you've come across, etc.

As for the photo, subject and type of photograph sent is sender's choice. Any kind of camera, any size print, any degree of digital alteration (or none at all). Please send photos by snail-mail and in envelopes rather than as postcards.
