Philosophy Club #2 - "The Recipe for Happiness" Welcome to my series of monthly philosophical question letter writing prompts! The question this month is: What is the recipe for happiness? Some topics that might be interesting to touch on in this letter could be: What fuels you to wake up in the morning? Can you have regrets and still live a happy life? What role do money, jobs, family, friends, love, or hobbies play in happiness? Have these thoughts changed as you've gotten older? Is life always happy, and if not, how do hardships or shortcomings fit into your recipe? This swap is meant to share your personal beliefs in a way that is open-hearted. There will be NO bashing of other people's personal beliefs, religions, backgrounds, etc. This is merely a safe place to learn what other people might think about the big questions in life. Please do not use this swap to try and preach your belief to others either. We are merely sharing our personal thoughts on a topic that has philosophical roots :) This is not expected to be an essay, no need to cite sources. Just speak from the heart. What do YOU believe? The letter should be 1 page long, handwritten preferred, but typing is acceptable. You may go longer, as these questions tend to bring out many thoughts in people. You may include extras but it is not necessary. Newbies welcome with a filled-out profile. Happy writing! | |
