Marloes, cooan, Canadian Gal - I mailed your postcards today, but I think one of them might be blank. Not entirely positive. I was filling them in, waiting for the post office to open and then they opened and I mailed everything and I feel like I forgot to write on one of them! Please let me know so I can make it up to you. I work 11p-7am and my brain was kind of running on empty this morning.

PostMuse, I am originally from the 'burgh and my dad still lives there. My favorite when I visit is Tessaro's on Liberty Ave. I can really get my carnivore on there. Ever go there?

Ah.... as a vegetarian I usually steer clear of burger places, even those with such great reviews as Tessaro's. The restaurant I sent as my recommendation for this swap is on S. Craig Street....Eat Unique. Used to be called something else (and one thing I've learned about Pittsburghers is that they are quite fond of what "used to be here"!), and was more a deli I think. They still serve sandwiches, but brie is just as likely to show up on the cheese list as cheddar :-)

Got lovely postcards (and recommendations that are making me really hungry for something I don't have to cook) from ArtIndulgence and Miss Five. Now I remember why I miss living in a city...
