this is a great idea! I create a lot of handmade postcards using random paper scraps!

I would love to join this swap, but I'm moving half way across the country soon, and need to get rid of all my scraps (I have to ship everything). So if anyone wants mine they can have them.

Momta3luv2Quilt 07/ 4/2006 #

SR Designs Good luck with your move! If no one else has asked to claim your scraps I would gladly take them off your hands.

i am thrilled to be getting some exciting mail since I found swap-bot, the swaps just keep getting better. I am trying to complete a collage series on tags illustrating the colors of the rainbow. Small colorful pieces would be a great addition. Florals are always good for me too. (Not telling my other half about this one, he shudders to think about more paper coming in. Hmmm, maybe when he sees paper going out?)

Show him the envie you are sending and hide the one you receive!

user2105 07/ 8/2006 #

I'm a greeting card artist & use oriental papers as well as papers with natural leaves & fibers imbedded in them.

user2150 07/11/2006 #

Hello everyone! Can't wait to refresh my clippings! I really like earth tones and if someone have them I need some clippings with skulls! LOL Mexican skulls for the Dias de los muertos would be even better! Alright I am stopping asking and pretending , I do not want to be obnoxious.

:)

Hi to all! This will be so fun I can hardly wait! My favorite things are forever morphing, but for now I have a penchant for bunnies and birds...the vintagey kind. But fussy I won't be...I love it all!

shelley 07/12/2006 #

I am new to swapbot and so excited! I love cute and bright things and am not so into vintage imagery . . . I can't wait for the swapping!

user2161 07/12/2006 #

This will be my first swap here and Im very excited to participate. I do alot of vintage and collage type items.

amybelle 07/12/2006 #

I do a lot of collages, as I said before...

Some of the papers I work with most often are mulberry/handmade papers, vintage or oriental themes, in just just about any color...

Can't wait!

user1906 07/12/2006 #

I seem to buy all the same tones and shades of paper: greens, blues and burgandy. It would be great to receive some brighter colors to inspire me to expand my pallet.

Thanks.

mariannealice 07/14/2006 #

I really love vintage and japanese papers...also birds and trees....

roxydynamite 07/14/2006 #

I have some ideas for old maps. Also interested in vintage postcards, imagery of birds, Paris, seahorses and shells, butterflies. I likes shades of blue, green, and purple. Stamps are useful, too.

user1829 07/15/2006 #

Looking forward to this swap. My favorite paper to work with would include anything asian, vintage, handmade, and/or earthy in color...but any and all scraps would be great.

user1598 07/15/2006 #

i cant see my partner for this swap - is anyone else having problems viewing???

user1460 07/15/2006 #

I'd love some vintage stuff: stamps, paper, maps, book pages, postcards, greeting cards. Can't wait!

user1631 07/16/2006 #

anastasia -- I can't, either, and it's been two days since the swap closed.

Also, I love anything Asian, and book pages or newspaper clippings from non-Latin scripts (ie, Russian, Japanese, Arabic, etc...). I also like bright colors. Beyond that, anything is OK.

Still have not received mine yet.

roxydynamite 08/12/2006 #

I sent mine to Caleeroam on 7/29. Haven't heard that she's received it. Maybe she's on vacation? Nothing has come in the mail for me yet.

user1506 08/14/2006 #

I received a great package from Mammadoo in July, however, due to a tragic family event, and sickness, I was unable to take time out to assemble my package, so I forwarded the package I received to my partner. I am sorry it worked out this way, but I thought this would be the best solution.

user1024 08/16/2006 #

Nothing received yet - will be contacting my partner to remind her..

roxydynamite 08/18/2006 #
