I doodle all the time in class, and I'm always fascinated with the different things people draw during class, so lets swap doodles! Alright, so take a piece of notebook paper, or printer paper, and fill it up with doodles. Spend a while on it and make it look interesting. Please don't use pencil, as it might get all smudgy in the envelope. Markers and pens are fine! Fold it up, and send it to your partner, and then wait eagerly at your mailbox until the postman gives you an envelope of doodles! Now for the twist. You must include the color ORANGE in your doodle. Orange doesn't have to be the only color, but it should be the one that stands out the most. It can be small and off in the corner, barely there, or it can be the main theme. Its up to you, be creative! For extra niceness and creativity doodle and decorate the envelope! It is not necessary to doodle something based on your partners profile, but please avoid things they feel strongly against. (Religion comes to mind, please avoid this) Anyone can join if they have a filled out profile and no recent no sends. (newbies are welcome too!) If you feel you've been unfairly rated, send me a message and we'll talk about it. I reserve the right to ban people that I think are shady as well, and will always give a reason when banning. If you are banned from one of my swaps, you may try to join the next one, if you fix the original problem =] If you have any questions, write a comment and I'll respond. If you have a question, most likely other people are wondering the same thing too! Also, if you are going to be late please send your partner AND coordinator a message. If you receive a very late swap with no communication, you can rate a three. The rating guidelines can be found in the FAQ's and those are what we will be going by. And of course, anyone can start up an international version of this swap if they want. You can even copy and paste my text as long as you credit me.

Thanks! I've already angeled the two people that needed it from the first round, but I'll let you know if it happens again.

I'm thinking I don't want to be done swapping doodles once the rainbow is done. Would anyone want other themes once these are done? Any suggestions?

I think thats a good idea maybe shapes, like circles, squares, diamonds, maybe 3dshapes or 3d letters...maybe a page full of our name written in different ways...hehe

This is my second doodle swap - and so far they are my favorite! Thanks fourohfour for hosting.

Doodle theme ideas: seasons (summer, fall, winter, etc.), holidays, animals (forest creatures, pets). When I'm bored I chose a letter and draw everything I can think of that begin with the later (example, for "B" I would draw a bear, bees, a bike, beans, etc.)

You ladies (and possibly gentlemen? I didn't check) are awesome! I love the ideas. It seems like I'll be hosting these swaps for ever now! I really like the color combo ideas and the draw everything that begins with a certain letter. We could do a swap for each letter of the alphabet, or maybe pick a few letters and put all those doodles (on separate pages) in the same envelope, to save on stamps.

What do you think about maybe starting a doodling group?

Ooohh this sounds awesome! specially since I am a doodler! The dates of this swap won't fit in with my budget but I definitely will look out for the next one! and if you guys make a doodle group: please count me in! :)

In the spirit of keeping the doodle swaps going forever, I don't see anything wrong with repeating the rainbow colors again! I'm sure new people will join (like me!) and what can possibly be bad about making (and receiving!) more than one purple, red, or black doodle??

I would love to keep them going forever, but I think I would get bored with making all the color themes again. If anyone else would like to host the whole rainbow colors series, I wouldn't mind at all. You could even copy and paste my descriptions. I do want to host the new themes though.
