Hello everyone! I thought it would be fun to find pen pals in other countries! I have many pen pals here in the USA and would love to meet some new friends in other countries. This will be a very simple pen pal swap. You will each be assigned 1 partner and you will write that partner. You can type or hand write the letters, you can send extra or what ever you choose! I hope everyone will sign up no matter what country you are in! So come on lets start writing!

How are you going to guarantee that the people from the USA don't get a partner from the USA since partners are automatically assigned?

There is no way to know that, I just hope that we can get a equal balance of people from both the USA and other countries. Then the partners would be pretty balanced!

There is no budget, you do not have to send anything but a letter if you do not want to. I am a new member as well so yup this swap is for new comers.

I used to have penpals in Italy, Ukraine, USSR (at the time) and England. I've thought of them many times over the years and this would be fun to do as an adult.

I have about 15 pen pals in the US and would love to get some new ones in other countries! I hope lots of people join that are in the US and other countries so the partners will be even

You might have better luck making a new group called International Pen Pals and swapping among yourself. Using a general swap format will not allow you to assign penpals so not everyone will get an international pen pal. Just a suggestion.
