Description:

Swap-bot defines an APC as: "Altered playing card, like an ATC except that you use a poker sized playing card(2-1/2″ x 3-1/2″), as the base. The only other rule in making APCs is that you must leave one of the corner numbers and suit visible."

There will be four of these swaps, and I recommend joining each of them as they come up. The goal is to create an entire APC deck with each suit coming from a different swapper.

Step one: Run off to the dollar store and pick up a deck of cards. Step two: Get rid of the jokers and any other unnecessary-for-playing card, and then sort the remaining 52 cards by suit. Step three: Take all the cards of the Spades suit. Step four: Alter away! Each card can be completely different, or you can have groups of things be of a certain theme. Examples of groupings: All the Royal cards (jacks, queens, kings) have one theme, aces and number cards another; each suit can be a different theme; each type of card can have its own theme (ex. tens have butterflies, aces have stars, etc.); or whatever else you can think of!

KEEP THE REST OF THE DECK! There are swaps for every suit!

For this swap you are sending ONE complete suit - this one is SPADES - to ONE partner. This is a SENDER'S CHOICE swap, but if you'd like to scan your swap partner's profile to see what they're into and base your cards around that feel free!

I've given a fair bit of time to complete this swap as I imagine it'll be rather time-consuming and having a long time to finish it should help cut down the number of flakers. All swappers of good standing and newbies with well-completed profiles welcome. Also, beginners at this craft (like myself!) as well as experts can join!

I might be able to angel but if anyone here would like to volunteer to do so if necessary please let me know!

Look out for the other three suits: Hearts, Clubs, and Diamonds!

I would love to join these swaps but would need a bit more time to work on them. A month would be a good time line for me, but thats just because I am a newbie at making these. Good luck with the swap!
