Description:

I love to knit and crochet almost as much as I love to collect stitch markers. Not only are they functional, but pretty at the same time and I thought it would be nice to add to my growing collection.

For this swap, each participant will have one swap partner. You will send a set of at least 5 stitch markers (five is the minimum, you can send more if you wish) to your partner.

Your stitch markers must be handmade. Size, colour and choice of materials are up to you (ie; beads, polymer clay, buttons, brads, charms etc).

These stitch markers are intended to be used, so must be functional. Try to ensure any rough edges are filed down so they don't snag the yarn.

Please state in the comments section if you would prefer knitting stitch markers (closed loop) or crocheting stitch markers (removable clip).

I am not setting a steadfast value on this as materials will vary, but I suggest no more than $5 / EUR 3.60 / £3.

Postage costs should be relatively low, so I am making this International.

I am allowing one whole month from sign-up deadline to send deadline, so there is plenty of time to get creative.

Ratings of 4.8 and above, with no recent no-sends please. This is my first foray into hosting, so I will be checking profiles before assigning partners.

I'm very new to this also but I am so excited! Beautiful stitch markers add to the pleasure of knitting with beautiful yarn! I hope you reconsider taking new members and take a chance that we will fulfill all requirements! Thanks!

do they set of 5 stitch markers need to be the same or can they all be different?

SweetNienna 07/11/2009 #

1CrazyQuilter, you can make them all the same, or all completely different, let your creativity run wild.I say :)
