Description:
For this swap you will make 5 new friendship books (FBs). Two must be for your partner. The rest may be for anyone you like. You'll send all of them to your partner. Any theme is allowed, although you may post here with your favorite themes if you like, to give your partner some ideas. FBs must be nice and neat! I define this as having a sturdy cover that will hold up to many mailings, 2-5 pages which are neatly cut, and a pretty cover image that is any combination of stickers, computer printouts, magazine cutouts, glitter, confetti,etc. Contact paper or clear packaging tape can be used to faux-laminate the cover and tends to look really good, as well as making it more durable! Please, no one with ratings below 3.5. If you're going to be late, please let your partner know! The italics give away the problem, Swap-bot reads 2 underscores as indicating italic text, you there should be an under score in between "friendship" and "book," and another between "littlehawk" and the numbers.

When you say the others may be for anyone else..should we fill in whom its for. Should we put to 'such and such' from 'such and such'? And should their be a return to 'such and such when full'? Sorry but I just want to be clear on this. Thanks. :)

Yes, fill in such and such's info and it helps if you put "Please return to 'such and such' when full. Thanks." You can put that on the back or the last page or wherever yo uthink is best. So for example:

Front cover--decorated Inside cover--"Friendship Book Made By: (Your info)" "For: Jane Doe (Jane's info)" A few pages for people to sign their names/put their address labels Back inside cover--"When full, please send home to Jane! Thanks!"

I'm new to this and have some questions. What size should the books be, should we use cardstock for the cover and good quality paper for the pages, or more cardstock?

Two will be made out to be returned to my partner, but the other 3, if I don't know more then one person who's into swapping these, what should I do about that? Can I make one out to myself? Thanks for the info, I'd like to join because I'd like to strt exchanging FB's and this seems like a good place to start, but need to be clear on what I'm doing. Thanks

cindynvb...the book should be small enough to fit into a standard size envelope, but large enough for people to write their address in or put address labels in. You can use cardstock or plain paper for the inside pages, whichever you feel is best. You can make 1 or more out to yourself. There are some great yahoo groups out there for swapping friendship books too if you'd like to get more involved in it. Send me a message if you like and I'll send you links to some.

I'm confused. Do I send the two that I make for my partner to other people so they can start writing in it? And do I send the other three to my partner so that she can be the first to write in it? I'm sorry. I'm new to these and want to make sure that I do it right.
