Wikipedia's definition of ZINE: "A zine is most commonly a small circulation publication of original or appropriated texts and images. More broadly, the term encompasses any self-published work of minority interest usually reproduced via photocopier on a variety of colored paper stock. Zines are written in a variety of formats, from computer-printed text to comics to handwritten text (an example being Cometbus). Print remains the most popular zine format, usually photo-copied with a small circulation. Topics covered are broad, including fanfiction, politics, art and design, ephemera, personal journals, social theory, single topic obsession, or sexual content far enough outside of the mainstream to be prohibitive of inclusion in more traditional media. The time and materials necessary to create a zine are seldom matched by revenue from sale of zines." This is a simple swap but requires some hardcore drawing/crafting work! What we're going to do is create a half-sized, or quarter sized art and/or comics zine, make copies, and then swap! Experienced zinesters and people new to the zining world are welcome. 4.8+ rating required, and newbies are welcome with a well filled out profile. NO FLAKERS PLEASE, I am able to angel but I would REALLY prefer not to....I've given over a month for each swapper to complete this swap, so there shouldn't be a problem. Here are the requirements/guidelines for each zine: Must be at least 6 pages minimum. It's just not fair if someone spends a lot of time of a nice hefty zine and they get something flimsy in comparison. That's how the swap works.
