Artsy Postcards
Swap Coordinator:amymc (contact)
Swap categories: Art  Postcards
Number of people in swap:22
Location:International
Type:Type 2: Flat mail
Last day to signup/drop:September 25, 2009
Date items must be sent by:October 9, 2009
Number of swap partners:3
Description:

For this swap you'll be sending one naked (no envelope) art postcard to 3 partners.

Definitions of art vary, but here's the general idea for this swap: postcards depicting painting, sculpture, drawing, architecture, illustration, etc. Photography, of course, is an art form too, but if you send postcards with photography, please don't send the usual scenic-view ones, as those can be traded in almost any swap. Photography should be particularly artistic to be included in this swap.

I'm going to officially restrict this swap to new, store-bought cards, since that's what most people seem to prefer. However, if you don't mind receiving free, advertisement, hand made, or recycled cards, please post your preferences below. However, unless your partner states otherwise, you must only send new, purchased cards!

This is an international swap. I will be checking profiles, and questionable swappers will be excluded. Newbies welcome with completed profiles.

I don't mind any type of postcard (free, advertisement, hand made, or recycled), as long as it's well-made and artistic!

I don't mind any type of postcard too - I particularly like cool handmade stuff and like amymc, I don't mind as long as it's well made and artistic!

All post received will be displayed on my wall and posted up to www.myrealwall.com, which incidentally looks a little like the picture for this swap...

I have a question... why can´t they be sent in envelopes? I´m asking because what I want to send has text on it and I would have to cover it in order to put address etc, which I wouldn´t have to do if I could put them in an envelope. Thanks!
