Hello, This is a swap to show off your crafting space. It's always fun to see where other people create and how they organize their things. As much as I enjoy reading decorating magazines, some of their spaces seem so artifical. Crafting takes a lil bit of mess. =)
Use this as motivation to tidy up your space, or make no apologies and show it as is. Your crafting space may be a room, or a desk in the corner, or your dining room table when you aren't eating. However you define your space.
Ex. My fabric is organized on hangers in a closet. It's awesome because I can flip through and find what I need and there's no tedious folding and stacking, and I never have to rifle through a pile. My papers could be better organized. Currently they are all thrown in a big plastic tub and I can never find anything. I can't decide what categories to use to sort them, so that project is on hold. Should I use colors, theme, what? I don't know. Because you can get this swap put together without knowing your partner I've made the dates close together. If you sign up, go ahead and take your pictures and write your letter. Fine print: Swappers should have a rating of 4.5 or better. Since this is basically a letter writing swap I will consider a newbie, or someone who has a lower score, but please message me ahead of time. I'll probably wait till the sign ups are almost closed to ban people, so if you are watching the participant list don't be afraid. If you sign up, please send! No one likes a flaker. ********************Edit*** Hey all, depending on where you live and what's available wal-greens, cvs, wal-mart, kmart and I'm sure other stores have a thing where you upload your photos online and they print them out for you to pick up later. It usually costs 19 cents per picture and I've had great luck using it. Walgreens is my local favorite store to use, because they are open 24/7 so I order the prints and pick them up at my leisure. If you go to any of the store's websites just hit the photo center or photo button at the top. |
