For this swap you'll send a one postcard to two people, for a total of two cards. The postcard can be anything -- hand-made or store-bought -- but must have a line out of a poem on the back, along with the title and author. Hopefully if people like this, we can do it again :) Newbies are welcome with filled out profiles. No recent unexplained 1's, please.

Can we write our own piece of poetry on it, or does it need to be an actual poem by some published author?

I'd rather is was a published author, so people can hopefully discover new poetry they like. But if you want to squeeze both in, that's fine with me ;)

I enjoyed this swap very much -- I did manage to fit whole poems onto both of my postcards (I chose fairly short poems and wrote small). I hope this is indeed the first of a series! Maybe you should start a poetry Swap-bot group.
