Are you a Neopets Fan? Do you play on Neopets all the time? Are you among the many who have an account you play only occasionally even tho you love it? Or are you curious and interested in joining a site where you own a 'virtual pet', can play games that give you 'neopoints' to buy food to feed the pet, or collectible items to display in a virtual gallery? Neopets is a Free Service, and is VERY family-friendly and safe to play on (it's been around forever now!) and some of us love it even when we don't have time to BE there! If you find the artwork or themes of Neopets fun, this is THE swap for you! You will have two (2) partners, and you will send SOMETHING Neopets-Themed to each of them. NO dollar limit or high expectations! (if you recieve something reasonable, please rate a five- as long as it's Neopets themed, it counts!) Some Ideas: A letter telling your partner how you found out about Neopets, and what are your favourite parts of it. A postcard or letter offering some advice on Neopets games, plots, or collecting help. A Neopet plushie, keyring, stickers... store-bought or home made! A sheet of labels (address or stickers) you created from images off Neopets (remember they own the copyright, so these can be given but not sold)... Ephmerea (like paper, stickers, stamps, or other art-bits useable in scrapbooking, ATC making, etc) that is Neopets Themed... An ATC (or two) that are Neopets themed... *A postcard (or two) that are Neopets themed... You name it, it's allowed- if it's all about Neopets, you're in the green! Note: this is a low-expection, high-friendship swap. If you feel like sending your partner a stuffie but get a few sheets of labels or stickers in return, don't think dollar value- realize that they went to effort to match you with something fun and good... and be kind in your ratings. Reserve a 3 for someone who sends you something horrible (a chocolate stained white plushie, fir instance) or a NON-Neopets item. Hold off on giving those 1's untill you KNOW it is a no-send, and try communicating if you know you'll be late! This swap is all about the place many of us go to have fun and play games... it's a great way to meet people, and to make new Neofriends who also do swapping! Maybe it will facilitate trades and friendship online at Neopets! Think of the chance for newbies to join just because of this swap, whom you could help to learn the 'ropes' there! I'm giving a good space between sign up close date and send-by date, so that folks can have time to decide what to send, and create or find it! A good idea would be to get a conversation going below, about your account on Neopets, how long, what you like doing, etc... give your partner something to work with! This swap is international, and newbie-friendly. I will weed out questionable swappers or those with a rating below 4.0 before I assign partners- feel free to contact me if you think they're be a problem, since this is a good 'redeem yourself' swap for folks with no rating or low ratings. I play on Neopets at least a little every day, really- I love the tiny/simple games and the chance to achieve goals by collecting items or completing current plots.

My username, obviously, is human_crouton (don't you feel like that sometimes?) and my account includes a Mutant Lupe (I adopted him, so he came pre-named, and I painted him Mutant because it looked spiffy.) and two 'lab rats' (meaning I use the lab ray on them to change their species, colour, or stats)- Skronk was supposed to be a Skeith eventually, but the lab ray is raising his stats more than anything, so what he is, or what colour, is any given day's random chance! My origional Neopets is Thorvalde... he was a Green Wocky (thus, his 'gallery of green' items...) whom I like seeing the lab ray move his stats up... but... (sniffle) it keeps changing his species. Someday, I would like him to be a Wocky again, I think. :P What colour, I don't know.

You never know though... the lab ray is an amazing thing... it can change your neopet into things unavailible any other way- so... who knows indeed.

What about you? What do you have there, or what kind of games do you play, etc?

Good grief I have a ton of neo-crap around here, I'd be happy to share it with someone! I ate lots of happy meals when they run their summer promotions - not so much last year, but many from the year before...what a great way to share, thanks Clayshaper!

Oops, for got to add the important stuff...I use this same username (krysanya) on Neopets, but haven't played as much as I once did - I love the plots and puzzles, and really enjoy roaming the boards to get hints on how to complete the plots steps. My dailies are pretty much the lab ray on my (currently) Kyrii (since I want to save for a spotted PB for my koi, and I love my maraquan graal), stopping by the WoE, and checking the news, and my guild board. We're not so active anymore, but they're a nice bunch of people. =)

Just for the record, I think if both people/partners agree, it's TOTALLY okay to swap something ON Neopets. Someone asked me if they could join, and if their partner was okay with it, give them one of their many paintbrushes (they had a collection apparently of many of each)... and I told them yes, if they wanted to make sure first their partner was good with that (since it's a 'virtual' item and not a 'real' one) that it would still count! If your partner wants something virtual, it's still a swap! :) it's all good, if you're both happy with it!

Wee, I love Neopets, and this sounds like a blast! I'm a newbie to Swap-bot, just so it's known, but I would never stiff someone on a swap (That's just IGNORANT!).

I, personally, wouldn't mind getting something on Neopets from my swap partner, however, chances are, they're going to wind up with one of my Neopets keychains from McDonalds (Yaye for being a rabid collecting fangirl!). (^-^)
