Description:

This is my first swap so I hope you all take part. Have you ever noticed how many cool insects there are and the fantastic colours they have. I thought I would embark on a small series of insects ATC swaps and hope you will join in.

My first in the series is Dragonfly.

Any type of technique goes really and here I have done a dragonfly using the Iris Folding Technique. If anyone wants the pattern please PM me and I will scan and send this to you.

This will be International and there will be two partners for each participant (so two ATCs in total - plus one more if you, like me, always do another for your own personal collection of your creations).

Also please remember that the dates fall earlier or later in different parts of the world so bear this in mind when you are waiting for your ATC. I will be checking all participants to make sure they are reliable swappers (though I would hope that all of us that belong in this group are!!).

Still have the pattern available if anyone wants to try this Iris Folding technique. Just send me a message.

Does the dragonfly have to be realistic or can we do a stylized rendition?

You can do whatever you want as long as it somehow represents your view of a dragon fly. I prefer creativity rather than just putting a sticker on an ATC. Happy creating.

Thank you :)
