You will have one partner and any medium is acceptable. This part of the swap will honor the AIR FORCE. Pictures of loved ones may be used or names, dates of service, place of service, anything you feel is important for this ATC. Please contact me if there are any questions. Other swaps will be posted for the Navy, Marines and Coast Guard. Other enforcement agencies may continue this series with police enforcement agencies and fire/rescue. These ATC's need to reflect a positive manner. Newbies are allowed. No recent 1's will be accepted. Thank you for interest in this series.

I would join this swap but as I am British why would I want to honour the US Air Force? Could I not honour the RAF?

xx

Why would you want to honor the US Air Force? Because they are fighting the same war your perious RAF are fighting. They are protecting you the very same way that any other branch of any military in the world is. That wasnt a smart thing to say at all... My husband is a US Marine who almost lost his life and watched many others lose theres, he was fighting for you, for your freedom, and for your saftey. Whether or not you chose to recoginize Military members from other countries is up to you, but they recoginize you... next time, think before you speak I am sure I am not the only one that comment hurt

Okay, I brain farted. I am sorry if I caused offence about the military but as I have pm'd Jesshens 1125 and the host of the Military ATC swap - my query was if it is an international swap about the Air Force, could I not do a Royal Air Force One instead of a US Air Force one as I am British?

I was an Army wife of 13 years, my ex-husband came back from Helmand Province 2 weeks ago, I have a great number of friends and family still in Afghanistan at the present time and would never, ever put the military down.

If my query was read as that then I am sorry but it was never intentioned to be that way.

i made this international for those stationed overseas. no disrespect is meant of any branch of the military in any country. my husband did loose his life for his service in the navy. my son is currently serving the army in iraq. please feel free to post a swap for your country disneyfreaksam. i do wholeheatedly agree with jesshens, well said. we are all in this together.

I think the biggest thing to consider is... This specific swap is in honor of a specific military branch of a Specific country as its theme...

If you don't like the theme, don't join the swap? Or create one specifically for the theme you want?

I imagine its likely international because not all US citizens are stateside (US military members and dependants for example). Not because they expect all foreigners to be excited about US military (though some may like the theme.)

thank you for claifying disneyfreaksam, i think we were posting messages at the same time. i will stick with the united states branches of the service for this series. i am glad your ex husband is home safely. we all want our service men and women to arrive home safe and well. no offense will be taken if you would like to start a swap for your country. i think it is a wonderful idea.
