EDIT - I am willing to angel if you get nothing over the course of two weeks after the swap date. I didn't ban any people this go-around, hoping for peple to be true to their word. IF YOU DO NOT SEND YOUR PART OF THE SWAP, I WILL REPORT YOU, give you a 1 rating and ban you from further swaps. I have allowed in people with 4.0, 4.6 & 4.8 scores because I want to be nice and fair; if you fail to do the same, I'm not joking with the above statement.

Please contact me with any concerns or questions. :]

Hey there!

One of my best friends and I have an ongoing photography project going on called 'love + 100 strangers", where we walk up to total strangers and ask them for the following:

First & Middle Name, Age, Where they're from, Love is...

Just basic information and what the think love is, in their own words or their true opinion on love. Plain and simple. And that's what you'll be putting on your PC: your first and middle name, your age, where you're from (originally or right now) and YOUR personal idea or definition of love. <3 The definition must start with 'Love is'; and your PC should have something to do w/ love or in association with it (hearts, roses, love letters, etc.)

The reason for seven PC's/partners is so everyone gets a reasonable amount of definitions in their mailbox. I know it's alot, but there's PLENTY of time to think of your definition and find/make 7 PC's.

Your postcards can be store bought or handmade; I actually encourage you to make them!

By the way, there's a reason behind the chosen sign-up and swap dates; my friend who started the project's birthday is Nov. 10th and mine is the 22nd! So, kind of unusual, but the dates do have a reason behind them, haha.

NOTE: if you cannot find/make love-themed postcards, then I would like some other sort of interesting/creative looking PC. Don't be boring!

EDIT:11/6/09 - I do reserve the right to ban people if i feel they cannot fulfill the task and look sketchy. I am willing to let people in with a 4.7/4.8 if there's good reason behind recent 3 or 1 ratings. We all mess up and are late! Please do not be offended if I feel the need to ban you, because I will host more of these if all goes well and you'll have another chance to join. :]

Question please! Can I make it myself, ostcard size and then put it in an envelope to send if I want to embellish it?

KawaiiNekomini 11/13/2009 #

I personally LOVE hand made cards :)

KawaiiNekomini 11/14/2009 #

Is it okay to send before the send out day?

KawaiiNekomini 11/14/2009 #

Im going to be sending the post cards that I have in an envelope so that the card doesnt get ruined. I am not sure if my hand made cards would make it okay across country.

I asked about the cards going in an envelope and the coordinator left me a message saying she would prefer that they do not.

My postcards will be postal tomorrow!

Thanks for a fun swap!

I went ahead and sent mine in an envelope because I did not have enough room for the postage stamps on my post card. All of my cards are on the way and my partners should be getting them soon!
