Yes, I sendom make my swaps International, but I thought it would be cool to get ATC supplies from another country. I'm not sure, is anyone who is in this swap from outside the USA?

We will miss you AlleyCat

I like most anything except cutsey, religous and nudes. Thanks, Janet

My likes and dislikes in ATC supplies

I don't really need more paper. I don't like pink, chartruse (sp?), or cutsy tootsy, or kid stuff. I love bling bling, fairy, butterfly, cat, wild animals, nature, borders, vintage, asian, native american, primitive, egyptian. I love nature stickers that are realistic. I love Nouveau, Anime, Art Deco. I love most colors, but pastels the least, bold and bright the most. Small embelishments OK, that is a place to start. Beyond this, surprise me.

user5409 06/28/2007 #

Thanks Janet . . . . I don't like religious or porn either.

I love swaps like this and it's especially nice to send and receive things that please us. I will look for my partner's comment so I can hopefully send them a great package! As for my preference......not cutesy, no stickers, no embroidery floss.....I would love to have words or phrases cut from books of mags in a variety of lettering styles. I enjoy anything Asian. Unusual fibers, brads and eyelets in colors, vintage collage elements, german scrap, strange buttons, glittery things, etc. Thanks so much! sherri

user5409 06/28/2007 #

Oh have I got stuff for you Sherri, if I get you assigned as my send to partner. Tease tease

I have a list of craft wants/needs/dislikes on my profile page. Very detailed... lol.

Ready Set Go. You have your partner now. Communicate, be generous, get it right, and then send the goodies to each other. Have fun putting the package together and have fun swapping.

I like animals, cats, goats, birds, butterflies, dragonflies, hummingbirds, any thing natural, vintage, nautical, country, book, turn of century related. I'm pretty easy to please, just no cutesy cutesy unless it is classy cute like in something vintage. I'm very down to earth hence my farm living. I don't get much of a chance to see new papers or items like embellishments unless I order them on line. So fire away and surprise me. Hope this helps.

Catty - I sent your envy out this evening but I can't say you'll get it by the Saturday deadline. I am in a very small town and all of our mail goes to Detroit for processing after being picked up locally, which adds a day or two to delivery. With Wednesday being a postal holiday, it's possible it won't arrive until Monday the 9th.

user5409 07/ 2/2007 #

Karen; Not to worry, you are ahead of schedule just fine. The 7th is the last day to mail. So you did just great. Can't wait to see the goodies - surprises!!

DorthaKay (Littlegoose - Dortha), I posted your package this morning from England.

user4055 07/ 7/2007 #

Janet...your goodies are on their way...Enjoy! studio sister Lisa.

user4055 07/ 7/2007 #

CattyCat....love, love, love my treasures! There is even a bakelite button or two in there! Thanks so much! studio sister Lisa

user5409 07/ 7/2007 #

Lisa: I know little to nothing about Buttons. I'll go google bakelite and see what that is. Do you covet those? I can probably send more if I have them. I like getting things to the people who appreciate them. Just my nature.

user5409 07/ 7/2007 #

Lisa: I just went to this site and saw what those bakelite buttons sell for. Wow I'm gonna have to look into ebaying them. LOL YIKES! 10-23 dollars each. Who'd have guessed. I'll still send you some more if you will educate me how to identify them. Maybe you could email me and attach a picture of the ones I sent you so I can get an idea.
