Why do men get to be the "tools" all the time?? Why are all tools so darn ugly? I want to ask my husband (who can't fix anything) to go grab me a hammer and then look embaressed as he brings me back my tool-masterpiece! Get out your paint, rhinestones, glitter, fabric--whatever!! Give those ugly tools a facelift! ITs pretty easy, your going to go get a hammer and some nails (10?) and pretty them up for your partner. Keep an eye out for more swaps in this series :o)

HAHAHA!!

You know what my mom gave me last year for Christmas?? You guessed it! A "girlie" hammer. She took one of the full sized with wood handles & painted it with nailpolish. Pink super sparkly nailpolish. It's awesome :)

Has it held up well, Amandalee? That is so neat! This is such a cool swap idea! I think it would be fun to do a flat rate box altered tool swap. It could have pliers/wire cutters, exacto knife, scissors, measuring tape-any of the cool tools you can find at the dollar tree. We have a $1.25 tree that has better quality stuff. I want an altered tape gun. I use my tape gun so much!

I was going to mention, you can always use the flatrate box or envie. The flatrate envie is only $5.

The next tool in the series is "Get Screwed" screwdriver and screws...

Thats a great idea, we can do another one, if i can think of a naughty way to say "tapegun" LOL :o)

Went to "discount paradise" and scoped the tools. We have... a saw.. wall scraper... box cutters... maybe we'll do a senders choice after we "Get screwed"??

Yes Myrr, holding up great!! The polish is not chipping off at all.
