Description:

The Misunderstood Pomegranate....

You are attractive, sure...but not always well received. You're something to pile in bowls as decoration for a month or so...only to be tossed out in the garbage when you've become dried up and shriveled..having served your time..

As far as being tasty..well that's debatable. Some people like you..others don't. I mean...with that pithy membrane....and those oft times messy little seeds....it's no wonder you're the red headed step child of the botanical world.

It's not always a happy existence when you have to live out your short life as a disgruntled fruit.

Here we pay tribute to that often misunderstood fruit...let's give him his 15 minutes of fame...his place in the sun..his just desserts.

In this swap you will have two partners....send them one card each...so you'll be creating 2 cards total.

Be imaginative...use any medium..and let's give the pomegranate a fair shake!

This swap open to all ..newbies with a filled out profile. I will angel any who don't receive their cards...

Let's make the pomegranates of the world smile for a change! Have fun!

Heh! I love pomegranates, and I love this idea! On my watchlist until I get a few swaps cleared!

This is amazing LOVE the write up! :)

I love pomegranites, people near me have trees full of them, and they let them fall on the ground and rot.

I like pomegranates too....TY about the writeup Verdigris!...the image I used is one of the pomegranate head dolls I made in the past..I make weird dolls...and sadly, they all have a lot of emotional "baggage" which makes for interesting (if not pathetic) personalities! And we now have proof of their justification for feeling depressed...Candyn29's neighboring pomegranates...left to rot on the ground..how tragic...isn't there a self help group for misunderstood pomegranates? If not, there should be!
