Alright...so this swap may be a total flop on here, buut it's worth a shot. I know there's gotta be at least three of ya' on here who listen to bands like Black Flag, the Subhumans, or the Lunachicks. So what you'll be doing is making two ATCs featuring your favorite 80's punk band (preferably a different band for each card) and send them to one partner. If you want to do a band that formed in the late 70's ('78 & '79) and continued on into the 80's, I think that's perfectly acceptable. Even if the band is still going strong today, if you think 1980 was their prime decade, go for it. Use any and all mediums you want. Be as absolutely creative as possible. Go all out on these ATCs and make them super rad! Please don't just glue a picture to some card stock, write the band's name in the corner with sharpie and call it good. Really put a lot of effort into these--I can't stress enough how much it SUCKS to put a whole bunch of effort into your cards and then get something in return that looks like your partner spent a good 7 minutes on. Unless your profile is super sketchy (oodles of no-sends, no information filled out, etc) anybody is welcome to join, preferably with a 4.8+ rating, however I'm a pretty nice person and can probably be persuaded if you message me. Oh, one more thing (and I know I sound like an ass here)...but if you're going to be late, for the love of god just shoot your partner an e-mail and let them know what's up. That's 10x better than not saying anything and hoping they don't notice. However you should, uh, really just send your ATCs out on time! Happy swapping, everybody!! |
