I have recently fallen in love with Zentangles and thought it would be fun to have ATC swaps with these delicious mini art works. While I have seen Zentangles done in black and white traditionally, I thought it would be fun to do some in colors. I am going to have a series of these so that we can get many different colors. If you don't know what a Zentangle is, you can go here to find out: http://www.zentangle.com/about-what-is--1.php Also, you can look at the Flickr group: http://www.flickr.com/groups/zentangle/ A few tips for Zentangles: You can use any type of pen, but I have found that a very fine tipped pen, such as a Micron, works best. Any design is welcome. This is YOUR art, and art can not nor should be restricted. Any type of paper will work; however, since this is an ATC swap I do ask that you use a cardstock weight as a base for your Zentangle. Now for the nitty gritty: This will be an international swap since it is a flat item. You will create 1 (ONE) Zentangle for 1(ONE) partner. ATC must be the appropriate size (2.5x3.5). The color green MUST be present in the ATC, whether it is a green ATC base, green pen, etc. Please, no recent no sends or flakers. I will be checking profiles before assigning partners to verify this. This is Newbie-friendly, but please insure that you have a well filled out profile. If you don't intend to follow through with your commitments please do not sign up. I will Angel if necessary, but please don't make it necessary. No one likes a flaker. I will do my best to answer any questions in a timely manner :) (Picture courtesy Zentangle.com) |
