Okay, so my family is a little...different. I'm sure that other people have families that are the same way. I love to talk about my family, and I love to hear people's stories about their families, too. So, I'm hoping that some other people will share their crazy family stories. Include photos, anecdotes, talk about your weird family traditions, write poems, anything to tell people about your crazy family! Once you've got the zine compiled, send it out to your three (3) partners. Let's make this about 10 half sheets of regular copier paper, give or take a page or two. If people feel like that's too much, let me know and I'll revise it. I think international is fine as well. It would be interesting to see if families are equally weird the world around!

ok, ummmmm, my family is not just weird, they are the picturesque version of dysfunctional! is it ok to, um, kind of vent about them without trying to border on, well, slander? i don't think i could write about my livin'-in-the-river-of-denial family any other way! i'm just saying this because my zine will be very truthful!

I think that's the point of it--to see the "reality" of someone else's family and share about yours in a truthful manner. : ) Please, be as honest about your family as you want to!

I think this is a delightful swap idea, but unfortunately I'm going to have to pull out. My family has completely eclipsed weird these days, and I just don't think I could give 100%. I'd love to participate in a future similar swap! Good luck!
