mom & daughter matchbox 32c

no recent 1s, no newbies, sorry but this involves kids so I dont want them to be flaked on, please have 5 package crafts completed and have a profile filled out

Is the idea that the moms are sending to the moms and the daughters are sending to the daughters? Or are both matchboxes intended for the daughters? This is such a great idea, my daughter is so excited!

mom makes for mom, daughter for daughter. this will be a great thanksgiving break craft!

I had a question, my daughter saw this and is really interested but she is only 10 1/2 yrs old. Do you think it would be okay for us to sign up or is the age on this swap strict? She's pretty crafty and takes a lot of pride in her work.

@Candyn29 Hi. Just figured I'd give my input.. I received a doodle postcard from @Moontear28 's daughter, Sarah, and it was spectacular. I can attest to the fact that Sarah's skills at least match my 13yo daughter's. :) Please let her join.

Angel and I will be joining, but it will be our first attempt at matchboxes. If anyone has time to educate us, please message me.

the matchboxes are not that hard, i use a real matchbox, you can go to my profile to see the photos from flickr of ones ive made. Id suggest useing the good double sided craft tape, thats all ive used, i use alenes craft glue for any embellishments. dont be intimidated because you have never made one, if you have done paper crafts then you will do fine, also dont forget to decorate the inside as well

@moontear28 would you be interested in hosting your own swap? I think maybe some people have seen this and they have younger kids, thats why I set my age higher, so someone could host for the age group under 12. perhaps 9-11.

Ugh. I'm dropping the swap. Sorry. I just discovered Angel won't be here until the 11th.

well maybe you can host a swap when Angel gets there, and I would join. christmas break is coming up, plenty of free time.

@moontear28 You would be great host, and its not that hard, I hosted my first swap after my first rating. And now Im addicted, The only thing is trying to come up with new ideas for the crafts I like doing.
