Description:

For this swap, you will make your partner a piece of headgear that he or she could use as a disguise when doing questionable things late at night - or possibly when just really cold.

I was thinking along the lines of a balaclava, but a Zoro-type mask and scarf would also be acceptable. The idea is to make something that covers a large part of the wearer's face, without obstructing vision.

Your ninja gear can be knitted, crochet, sewn etc - or you could alter a pre-existing hat. It should have a handmade component though.

Please don't choose a pattern that leaves a large part of the face uncovered, in case your partner does want to do sketchy things while wearing it.

The pattern for the one in the picture can be found here:

I am making the sign-up day after the holidays, but you can start working now if you choose! It would almost be preferable to not know anything about your partner, so as to make their disguise perfectly unrelated to them.

Keep in mind that ninjas don't have to always wear black.. but black is good too.

This swap is open to anyone with at least 3 mailed swaps and no recent 1's or 3's. I will angel this swap if necessary, but please don't be a flaky ninja!

for anyone going for the authentic look. Ninjas used to dye dark black cloth in red dye so when the moonlight reflects of the cloth, their opponent can not tell if they are bleeding(if harmed) or if it was just the suit.

@PrivateDean that's awesome, and really cool to know! Thanks for sharing :)
