Slipper Redux

Baby its Cold outside (well its cold here!) - time to create some stylish tootsy warmers! I'm going to allow plenty of time for this swap since we have the holidays right around the corner.

For this swap you will create a pair of slippers for your partner out of something that was Not a slipper when you started. After they are reconstructed (or while you're reconstructing them), you'll embellish them. There are tons of ideas on the web for slippers, and I bet you can all come up with a few of your own as well. The slippers need to be somewhat more than just a crocheted 'footie' type. (They can be crocheted, knitted, sewn, quilted etc.. just need to be a step up from the little mary janes I see patterns for a lot). If in doubt, message me.

So here's what we do:

1. Once partners are assigned, get with your recipient and chat about size reqs - could even have them draw around their foot and pop it in the mail to you if in doubt.

2. Create a pair of snazzy embellished slippers for our partner from something Other than a pair of purchased slippers.

3. Give them a title and send them off to our partners with a little note about the way they were made.
