Description:

This is a swap for a handmade pincushion. You will have one partner. It can be made by any suitable craft method. You could make a small patchwork pillow, or crochet or knit a small stuffed shape or creature like a turtle. Make a fabric or felt cupcake. Make one from a stuffed fabric ball glued into a cup or mug. This is international, so consider weight and shipping costs. Cross stitch or embroider a circle, pad it and attach it to a bottle lid. The options are endless. Use the craft you like most or take this opportunity to try out something you've never done before. Make a tiny one attached to elastic that fits on a finger or a bit larger one that fits on a wrist, or an elegant beribboned satin or velvet one that sits on a bureau to hold jewelry pins. This is senders choice so you can start right away. Everyone should have at least a 4.5 rating. I'll angel anyone whose partner flakes. Everyone be kind in rating, we all have different skill levels. Enjoy!

Hello! I am new to the site. Will you be doing more of this swap? I want to participate, but have no ratings yet. I hope to join after I am able!!

Thanks for this fun idea. I made mine a couple of days ago, so I'm ready!

Great Idea but bad timing for me... please consider doing another one in future :) regret having to pass this one up....looks like there is a lot of interested parties so it may just be an issue of juggling swaps & schedule :)

Hi! :o) I am French and new to the site. I want to participate, but have no ratings yet. My profile is not completed because English is difficult for me. I'll write slowly. But if you want to know me better, you can look at my blog (it's written in French, but there are lots of photos!). I hope to join!

This was a fun swap (I just mailed off my pincushion!)

If any of you are interested, I'm doing a NON-Cross stitch Biscornu pincushion swap here it's USA only, but if some people want an international one, I could change it--the one I just mailed out was only a 1 oz package!.

Thank you for your reminder email, vlhafer54. I already received mine from Morgaine :o), but I have not forgotten my partner, BInspiredMama. I gathered all the supplies and I'll make this weekend. I will post Monday.
