Bento Box / Japanese Lunch Box Recipe Swap!

Do you have some Japanese plastic bento boxes sitting around in your cabinets that you really want to use to pack your lunch but are not quite sure what to put in it? Have you joined one of the recent Swapbot bento accessory/box swaps and need some ideas for some food for them? Then this swap is for you!

In this swap, you will have 2 partners and mail 2 recipes. Some guidelines and ideas:

Recipes: Your recipes can be anything from anywhere, as long as they are something practical for a bento box. This means, no soups (because not everyone has thermal containers), nothing huge (because if you have seen a bento box before - you'll know why), and nothing that is impractical.

If you have a killer recipe for a salad for a bento box, then go for it. A tasty finger food item that doesn't require refrigeration and can make it until lunch? Great. You do not need to make this a Japanese recipe (but you can). If you have a question about your recipe, please PM me or post here.

Also, your recipes can be typed, written (please make sure its legible), anything. They can be on paper, recipe cards, index cards, get creative!

Rules: Please note that this swap is coming up relatively soon, so if you cannot make the dateline, please do not join.

This swap is for everyone, including newbies. However if you have a rating lower then 4.5, please PM me first explaining why, and I will make a decision from there about if you can join the swap or not. And oh yes, I forgot to add!: I want this to be a special swapping experience for everyone involved in this swap. So 1 months after this swap has come and gone, and you have STILL not received your recipes from your partner and you have tried emailing them with no responses, please PM me and I will mail you some recipes to make up for not receiving anything!
