Can we use glitter glue like "Stickles"?

I made a glitter cupcake ATC and wanted to know how do we protect the glitter from coming off or sticking to something? Yes, we have to allow for drying time. Should we put the ATC in a snack size Ziploc? Had an ATC sent to me with glitter and it was wrapped in paper which got stuck to it & the paper damaged part of the ATC.

I have been successful with glittery fabric paint, the kind you find in little bottles in the fabric craft section of craft stores like JoAnn Fabrics or Michael's. They are even readily available at Wal-Mart, though the selection isn't as vast. It dries very glittery and is less sticky. Also, it dries fairly quickly (just a few hours). Also, Mod Podge is a wonderful "finishing" agent that comes in a variety of finishes (matte, glossy, shimmer, etc). When I use chalk on my ATCs I like to use that to insure that the chalk artwork I've created doesn't rub off. For sending Wax Paper can also be useful and its not expensive. Hope that helps!!

Glitter glue is just fine! :) Once dry, it is usually best to put the ATC into some sort of plastic - either a ziplock bag or an ATC plastic sleeve. Paper probably wouldnt be a wonderful idea, as SunshineHoneyBee pointed out. ANY type of glitter in ANY amount is acceptable for this swap - think glitter paper, glittery stickers, etc. :) Have fun everyone!!
