This swap is for a Vintage style Valentine based inspiration tag! Simple, just take a card/manila tag/vintage flash card/etc. perhaps make it red or start with a tag you have pasted some valentine images on. and wrap lots of fabric/ribbons/lace/trim/string/other fibers around it! Tuck in a few special goodies between the trims.Because its valentines day add one or two tiny heart shaped smaller tags or perhaps a heart charm,a lonely vintage earring or brooch.Perhaps a pearly headed pin.The more the better but at least 4 ribbons or trims one flower of some type and at least 3 extra charms pins or tags/ Make this something that your partner will love,. Make the trims and craft goodies something they will love to use! (The tags i have received in other swaps are still intact on my craft shelf i just love to look at them.)I know its a quick send bit then valentines day is soon so start now its not profile based .Rating of 4.8 no recent no sends newbies email me,I will angel this swap but i hope thats not necessary.

Do beads, buttons and other such like embellishments count as charms? And should they be stuch on or left so the recipient can take them off and reuse them? If it's the latter any ideas for attaching them? Josephine

I think the latter so that people can re-use them. Is this right Jules? Jules showed me one of hers and the little charms and things were just tucked in behind the ribbons and twines. Thanks for hosting this one I can't wait. x

thanks i didnt realise it yes the charms etc are for re use but as i said i love the tags i already received so much i havent touched them you can pin the charms or just tuck them in or even put them on a piece of wire and attatch them that way/ Beads and buttons coun t only if they are special eg vintage or elaborate.
