this is an idea i came across for framing inchies, thought you might like it. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=292439.msg3323420#msg3323420

sorry, not sure how to PM, still new to the site.

I have a custom inchie binder that I designed, it's 6 x 6 made from chipboard, fabrick, custom sewn sheet protectors and a bind it all. It's really easy to put together if you have a bind it all and sewing machine, I can type up the directions and send them but it might take me some time to retrace my steps and make sure I have the right measurements. I was also thinking of selling them at my etsy store all made up with custom fabric covers, but they wont be ready for a while...

I mean fabric, typic with a 2 YO on your lap is not a good idea :)

This might be a silly question, but what is an inchie? I'm from the UK and I'm sure they don't exist over here!

rosiefsw, they are these cool little 1" square pieces of chip board, foam core board, paper, card stock etc. (anything that will give it some stiffness). you can make your original drawing, pictures, artwork on paper, then glue onto card stock. kind of like making a atc but 1" square in size. i've seen some really cool ones that are like little mini works of art. hope you join in.

I put mine in a sealed bag 1'' x1'' , that you can find in pot smoking shops. It's perfect for that use!

Hi there, just wondering if/when we'll be assigned a partner for this. I want to finish making mine, but also want to see the likes and dislikes of my possible partner (should they have any) before I make the final few for this swap. THANKS! Excited to send off my first Swap!!!
