For the New Year, I thought it might be fun to start a series of smaller projects that can be made in a weekend. For the second project, you will be making 1 embroidered greeting card for your partner. The card should be in the 4" x 6" range (a U.S. standard 8.5" x 11" piece of card stock yields two 4.25"x 5.5" cards). You will be stitching on paper and can stitch directly on the card (you might want to cover the threads on the back with another piece of card stock), or mount the stitching to the card, layering as you would a rubber stamped image or other design. Requirements, 4.8 or higher, no recent 1s or 3s. Sign-ups by February 1st, send out by March 1st. Tutorials: Make and Takes Basic Instructions Pattern Ideas: |
