PLEASE READ ALL OF THE SWAP INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE SENDING YOUR POSTCARDS. I love to travel, and I love to talk about places I've been as well as hear about places others have been. (I can talk for hours about Cambodia) For each monthly themed swap, you'll have 3 partners and send each of them a postcard with a note about a place you've been that follows the monthly theme. Use the questions that follow as a guideline for your note. NB: This is a writing swap! January's Theme is: 2009 REMEMBERED Write about a place that you visited in 2009 that was the most memorable to you. Where did you go? Why did you visit that place? Do you go there often, or was it a once in a lifetime opportunity? (Write as much as you can fit on the back of the postcard.) Write the Swap Name (Places I've Been - Jan2010), Swap Theme (2009 Remembered) and Your Name VERY CLEARLY on the postcard. The postcards can be handmade or store-bought. It's usually best to check your partners' preferences 1st! If you have a postcard of the "place you've been", that's great, but it does NOT have to be. ONLY the message must be written about the place. This swap is international, and is open to all, You will only be banned if you have really bad recent ratings, if you have any no-sends in this series of swaps, or if you have failed to meet the swap requirements in this series of swaps. Happy travels! As always, if you have any other ideas for monthly travel themes, please share them. I will gladly use your ideas on upcoming swaps! DISCLAIMER: This swap is intended to be a writing experience. If you fail to adequately write about this month's theme, your partner may rate you a 3 for not meeting the swap requirements. Please read the theme questions carefully. |
