What a great idea! I am so in for this. :) :)

Tarabell150 01/ 4/2010 #

I love this idea! A lot of different options yet an easy swap!

CraftyAnnie 01/ 8/2010 #

Bought my coaster!!

KimberlyPye 01/17/2010 #

What a great swap!

(I collect "stolen" coasters from bars and restaurants, so I'm totally cool with a free one! I also like new ones, so whatever I get is fine with me!)

RebeccaT 01/25/2010 #

No plain tea for me.. the more exotic the better! I am totally cool with "free" coasters!

tatipop 01/25/2010 #

I love free coasters too! If have a drink mark, better!

theyankeehooker 01/25/2010 #

I'm in! I can't wait :) I hope I get a partner that likes homemade things...the bookmark and coaster I send will both be hand-made. I hope to get the same in return. After all, seeing others work is why I swap!

Oh, and no plain tea or chai please!

CraftyAnnie 01/26/2010 #

Yay! We made the top 10!

Poem 01/26/2010 #

I love this idea. I like chai teas. Mandrian Orange. YUMMY! Lol..Hugs, Poem

ElGingero 01/26/2010 #

When you say packet... do you mean box or individually packetted tea bag?

camelsamba 01/26/2010 #

Don't want to look too picky, but I can't abide tea with licorice in it - however, my husband will drink them if it comes to that. My favorites are flavored white teas or herbal teas.

MzPatti 01/27/2010 #

I buy my teas loose and packed in little tins (adiagoteas.com). Would anyone mind receiving tea like that? If that would be acceptable I'd love to join. camelsamba, they have a white pear tea that is soooo yummy.

Funny, I was making new bookmarks yesterday! :) Patti

groundhogstamper 01/28/2010 #

So sorry to be picky, but I don't want any loose tea or coasters from bars/restaurants.

sherred 01/28/2010 #

ok this is my first swap here i am excited. i am not picky anything is great :) Sherre

billowing 01/29/2010 #

Yankee, I'm in the same boat! I hope I get a handmade lover! ><

Tami 01/29/2010 #

This is my first swap here, too. I'm really looking forward to it. Anything will be fine, but I would love handmade items. :)

Miditron 01/29/2010 #

This is such a fun idea! I've had a great time searching for ideas for homemade coasters. Looking forward to my first swap! :D

LeishaCamden 01/29/2010 #

I would love to get anything handmade too. :-)

crochetjunkie 01/29/2010 #

I'm doing handmade. I don't like loose tea and prefer teas: plain, vanilla, etc. I don't like mango or similiar strong or sour-y/bitter flavor. If you don't have tea, cocoa would be an okay substitute if the coordinator ok's it.

Puchita 01/30/2010 #

If is possible i would love to get a free coaster!!!! I prefer bagged tea too! Thanks in advance!

ellie 01/30/2010 #

mine will be home made

SaraswatiChB 01/30/2010 #

Mine will be homemade and I'd love homemade as well, if you can find the time and evergy, of course. And I am allergic to black and green teas, unfortunately, so if you have, herbal or spice would be great.

MzPatti 01/30/2010 #

I'm doing home made in your choice of colors/themes, my mystery swapper friend and will send any teas that you like. Patti

Annesdatter 01/30/2010 #

I am doing home made as well, as I have some great ideas already. Please no peppermint tea for me, as it makes me gag, other than that I am good for any kind really

Marata 01/30/2010 #

so many picky people this almost makes me want to drop out of this swap. I will send part made and part collected. I hope people will be thrilled with whatever they get.

CraftyAnnie 01/30/2010 #

I agree with the above, here are the rules as stated above:

The coaster and the bookmark can be free (of bars, restaurants, bookstores, libraries), can be handmade or new. You decide!

maria27 01/30/2010 #

No green tea for me, please, but I'm OK with any other tea. I'm a crafter so I'll be making hand-made items too. I'd prefer to rececive the same if possible.

flowerimpressions 01/30/2010 #

I am joining ,reading the rules it sounds fun ! reading the comments , i guess I'll see! :o) peace I figure if someone sends me something I don't care for I can always give it to a friend. no need to fuss!

tatipop 01/30/2010 #

Hey people, when I said "2 individual packets of tea (different flavours)", it's just 2 individually packetted tea bag, to drink 2 cups of tea, not 2 boxes, OK?

tatipop 01/30/2010 #

And another thing: don't be so picky, people... this is to be an easy and fun swap, the rules are clear, but let your partner choose what to sent to you, and enjoy the surprise!!!!

LadyStephanie 01/31/2010 #

115! Amazing!!!

mountaingirl101 02/ 1/2010 #

Personally, I'm excited to get something in the mail that's not a bill, so I don't care if it's handmade, homemade, manmade, made by a 4 year old...whatever!! lol! Snowed in for the day, so I'll be finished putting together my kit by this afternoon~ weeee!! :)

nursechris 02/ 1/2010 #

mountaingirl, you are too much! You made me laugh! I agree with you on not getting bills and junk mail I have to recycle constantly. lol Tatipop, I think this was a super idea. If we get something we aren't crazy about we can just swap it some other time or surprise a friend! I just love tea and most people where I live only drink coffee. They see me drinking tea and just smile, or laugh. I am so excited to do this swap. I think you had a super great idea. Thanks so much!

Miditron 02/ 1/2010 #

Are you all mailing your packages in a plain envelope, or in a stiff envelope? I was going to do a regular one, but I wasn't sure if my coaster would get all bent up going through the sorting machines. Advice would be most welcome!

mountaingirl101 02/ 2/2010 #

@nursechris glad I could give you a smile! @ Miditron: I put a piece of cardboard in my package to give it just a little bit more sturdiness, plus it's lightweight and didn't add much to the shipping. Hope this helps!

SaraswatiChB 02/ 3/2010 #

Thanks for putting my head right, didn't want to be picky. Forget about what I said up there. I'm happy to receive anything. This is my first swap and it was soo much fun putting together something for someone I only know through a little description.

Artistic 02/ 4/2010 #

A tea kit package is en route from the U.S. to my partner in Canada. Enjoy!

SaraswatiChB 02/ 5/2010 #

Am sick in bed, but the stuffed envelope is next to me, waiting for me to get out and mail it to my sweet partner in Canada. This was soo much fun (my first swap).
