Description:

Take a picture of your pet, someone elses, or even a wild animal! If you use a picture you took from a zoo of a wild animal it should be good and as close as you could get with hopefully no bars in the way. It'd be even better if you could capture a pet/animal doing something funny :] NO blurry or kinda blurry pictures!

Once you've taken the picture have it printed out (preferably from Walmart or any other store) 4 x 6 or around that size and make a postcard out of it. On the back say some things about the animal like where you where when you took it. If its your pet give its name and what its doing.

Each person will send 1 picture to each partner, totaling 5 pictures! [I hope you dont mind I choose alot of partners, hopefully you can get more out of this swap plus a variety of pictures] You can either reprint the same pic 5 times or send 5 different pics its up to you. Also if you are worried about your pictures getting wet or feel more comfortable putting the picture in an envelope you may do so

Newbies welcome, but NO 1's & NO 3's and I will be checking profiles!!! Any flakers will be banned and I will angel if necessary, but it shouldnt be a problem. I will continue this swap no matter how many join. Message me for any questions or concerns! :]

have a question... what happens if the picture get wet in the mail? and how well do they hold up through the mail. Just worried that the picture will be fine when it gets there.

Avery Matte White Postcard paper I have is sized 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" and one sheet makes 4. You indicate 4"x6". I make postcards all the time but use this paper for that purpose. When I do photos for photo albums or scrapbooking I use 4"x6" paper. Pleas respond on this issue.

I just meant roughly the size of a postcard, but 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" is perfectly fine! Thanks for asking :]

O and just in case anybody else is concerned about their pictures getting wet: I just did a picture swap and it came through fine with no envelope.

Your best chances are having the picture printed at like Walmart or some photo place, rather than your own printer cuz they are printed with a special coating on it. Or if for some reason you really want to print it at home you can go anywhere that sells spray-paint and there is special "gloss coating" spray you could get...Also I put my stuff in a public mailbox, rather than my home mailbox to prevent any leakage that may occur and so the mailperson doesnt have to carry it while they keep delivering. You may put the picture in an envelope if you feel its necessary (I will have to add that in the description)

Hope this helps! :]

Found & bought 4"x6" postcard paper today at Office Max when I was buying Turbo Tax. I'm going to mail my postcards inside an envelope. I recently received a postcard wedding card and the paper was peeled off on one side. I'll be sending 2 postcards to each of my 5 partners (I know we only need to send 1 to each of 5 partners) but I have one of my dog (my dog can be a wild animal at times also) & one of a wild animal at a zoo I photographed. Surprised that more people did not sign up.

I would like to apologize for sending mine out late! For some reason I wrote on my calendar that it was due on the 26th.... :(

Alright, mine appear to have gone AWOL. With my luck the damned machines ate them. So I'm resending both of these swaps. This time I'm going to mail them in an envie...hopefully that helps.

My resend went out two days ago, they're probably postmarked the 4th. If you don't see them by the 10th please message me. I originally sent them naked, and my postmaster said they most likely got destroyed by the machine.
